Featured here is a 50 x 14 x 2 triangular vent.
This renders a 6.7 roof pitch also referenced as a 7/12 pitch.
Measures are of the base length and center height instead of the pitch.
Using the roof pitch can be off by a few inches depending on the framers cut.
By cutting on one side of the line or the other.
This 7:12 pitch was reduced to 6.7 due to a bad cut.
The true 7 pitch would have been 48 x 14.
This front flange was set at 1 1/2 inchs all the way around the vent.
Apply the wall cladding.
Then slide the triangle vent in and done.
Fasteners can be hidden behind the louver faces.
The vent itself is the measures ordered.
The nailer extends from the vent to cover any gappage from the rough opening.
The rear is finished off with an aluminum screen.
And all three corners are properly locked together.
