Yes it will ship freight, but an 84 inch vent can be manufactured in one piece at a 2 inch depth.
The 1 inch depth will be made with a center mull for more stability.
But the 2 inch, 4 inch and 6 inch depths are plenty strong enough louvers to be in one.

Triangle metal crawlspace exhaust vents
Shown here in Certain Teed savannah wicker, this tan colored vent will stand strong and true for a lifetime.
From the side we can see the front nail fin surrounding the entire vent and the 2 inch depth protruding out the back.
The front of the vent shows the beauty, but the rear shows the real attention to detail.
With an inch of trim coverage on the vent back to hide the rail system framing of the vent and neatly cover the aluminum screen and wire mesh sharp edges.
Even the base is trimmed and finished to a boxed base here for an easier wall insert.
By squaring up the bottom of vents for gable wall mounting, the vent will sit in the attic wall opening without sliding out during the install.
Roof vents are the only vents that need an angled base.
Finishing the corners of the triangle vent could be done by trimming the corners with a flush cut.
But we prefer to use these tabs as a strength advantage.
By leaving these ends long and turning them around the back of the flange, it locks the nail fin into shape and pitch.
These corners will not separate over time.
